Professor Masayuki Tanamura
Professor Masayuki TANAMURA is Professor of Law, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and Dean of the Graduate School of Law at Waseda University, Tokyo. He is an Accredited Mediator and Accredited Counsel at the Tokyo Family Court. He is also a Member of the Tokyo Family Court Committee. He is Executive Director of the Japan Academic Association of Family Law and Society and Director of both the Japan Academic Association of Gender and Law and the Japan Academic Association of ADR. He is also a member of the Law Reform Committee on the Return of the Child in the Hague Convention. He has also been a lecturer for the Institute for the Training of Family Court Probation Officers of the Supreme Court and is an Accredited Arbitrator for the Japan Sports Arbitration Agency.
Professor TANAMURA’s research interests lie mainly in family law and he is the author of numerous books and scholarly articles, including:
